Kara Manteufel Camfield, Violin*


Kara earned a Master of Music degree from the College-Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati (OH) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from Minot State University (ND). She is Assistant Principal Second Violin for the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra and has performed with the orchestra since 2006. Other duties for the philharmonic include playing first violin as part of an educational string quartet, and serving as a SPARK (School Partners with Artists Reaching Kids) teaching artist. Kara is the conductor of the Dayton Philharmonic Junior String Orchestra and an adjunct violin professor at the University of Dayton.
