The Beginning Piano Program

About this Class
Based on the Carnegie Mellon Prep School philosophy, The Beginning Piano Program was developed exclusively for The PPS by owner Jennifer Shoup. The BPP is an innovative program for new beginners providing comprehensive instruction, a natural approach to piano, fluency in reading and attention to musical detail. The program includes a 30-min weekly group class (max. 4 children) and 30-min weekly private lesson.
Our unique combination of Group + Private instruction introduces concepts in a fun, social learning environment while also offering the personal attention necessary to progress as individuals. Children build a strong musical foundation AND have fun! An initial meeting is required prior to enrollment.
