Stacey is passionate about teaching piano and helping students cultivate a love of music, gain confidence, and reach their individual piano goals. She utilizes positive encouragement and is attentive to each students unique learning styles and goals. Stacey is encouraging, patient, kind, and offers students the tools they need to become confident, empowered piano players. An experienced piano teacher, Stacey has taught pre-kindergarten students to retirees, and every age in between. She has taught private piano lessons as well as having taught at The Cincinnati School of Music. Having a Masters in (early childhood) Education, Stacey earned her degrees from Ball State University and Antioch Midwest University.
Stacey’s approach to teaching meets students where they are in the learning process and provides curated tools specific to each students goals and aspirations. Her philosophy is focused not only on the growth of each students musicianship, but also on fostering a positive and encouraging learning experience. She combines method books, technical exercises, music theory, and supplemental material, along with goal-setting to emphasize a life-long enjoyment of music.
