With 20 years of teaching experience, Jennifer has worked with strings students of all ages and skill levels, including middle and high school orchestra and jazz band, beginning strings, and private violin, viola, cello, and bass lessons. She strives to help students both develop technical proficiency and a deep love of learning their instrument. She has worked with students in both individual and small group lessons, as well as large performing ensembles.
In addition to her teaching credentials, Jennifer has performed with ensembles across the country, including Salt Lake Symphony, Columbia Symphony Orchestra, Miami Valley Symphony Orchestra, and the CSO Chamber Group. Her active engagement in the performance community enriches her teaching practice, having performed many different styles of music. When she is not teaching or performing, Jennifer spends her time hiking, cooking, and traveling with her husband and two children. Jennifer enjoys sharing her love of music, and looks forward to working with her students!
