Cora holds a Master of Music degree (M.M.) in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Samford University. During her university studies, she was an instructor at Samford University’s Academy of the Arts, where she maintained a small piano studio for three years (2020-2023). In 2021 Cora was selected as a piano teaching assistant for Interlochen’s Summer Arts Camp in Interlochen, MI, where she taught students of a variety of ages. Cora has given a number of solo, chamber, and collaborative recitals during her college studies, and she continues to be passionate about performing and sharing music with others. Cora’s interest in continuing education led her to become a member of Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) and Ohio Music Teachers Association (OhioMTA), and she enjoys learning about many topics in the music field. Additionally, she received honors for excellence in teaching from Samford University (2020-2023), being named a Teaching Fellow at Samford University’s Academy of the Arts.

Cora is pleased to work with students of any age and level of experience. She believes every student is capable of making music, and that neither “talent” nor starting young are at all necessary to learn and enjoy playing the piano. Cora believes music lessons should be enjoyable, and she tailors instruction to optimize the learning experience for each individual student. Cora is dedicated to helping her students build strong foundations in technique and musicianship so that every student can enjoy their own creative expression at the keyboard.
