Wheat teaches Voice, Guitar and beginning Piano to students of all ages. Wheat came to Ohio in 2020 after many years in Atlanta as a professional church chorister and vocal soloist in traditional worship. As a performer and teacher, he is equally at home with rock, musical theater, and the Great American Songbook. His diverse career includes years as a nationally-published music journalist. For three years he was the business manager for the Atlanta Baroque Orchestra.

Wheat draws on formal training and music theory to build a solid foundation for the student. He strives to understand each student from their own perspective, encouraging as well as challenging, helping each one to find their own voice.
