Stephanie Voelker, Voice

Soprano Stephanie Voelker is a 1999 graduate of the University of Dayton, where she majored in Music Education. She earned her Master of Music degree in Voice Performance from KentStateUniversity, where she was Graduate Assistant in Voice and Opera. She has studied voice with John W. Wright, Dr. Jane Dressler, and Kenneth Shaw. Stephanie sings regularly with the Dayton Opera Chorus. Other performance highlights include Schoenberg’s Pierrot Lunaire at the Kent/Blossom Music Festival, Carmina Burana with the Kent State Orchestra, H.M.S. Stephanie is an adjunct voice instructor at Sinclair Community College and is the youth choir director at St. Cecilia Catholic School in Cincinnati. She is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS). Her students have gone on to study music or musical theatre at schools including Baldwin Wallace University, The Ohio State University, University of Dayton, Kent State University, and Miami University.
