Jocelyn Hui, Piano

Jocelyn Hui completed Master of Music in Piano Performance at Wright State University and Bachelor of Arts in Music (Piano Performance and Pedagogy) at Hong Kong Baptist University. During her studies at WSU with full scholarship, she won several prestigious prizes and awards including top prize at the Young Artist Solo Division of the Ohio Music Teachers Association Graves Piano Competition (2018), first runner-up at Three Arts Scholarship Competition (2018), and top prize at Ohio Federation of Music Clubs State Collaborative Piano Competition (2017). In addition, she was a performing winner at the WSU Concerto Aria Night Competition in 2016.

In addition to piano solo and collaborative performances, she has served as the harpsichord continuo player at Collegium Musicum Hong Kong, Hong Kong Bach Choir and Orchestra, keyboardist at HKBU Symphony Orchestra and WSU Chamber Orchestra. As a conductor, she has conducted the Heep Yunn School Girls’ Choir and WSU University Chorus and WSU University Symphony Orchestra.
