Music Makers Camp
In this high-energy camp, our music makers will spend the week “Down on the Farm” where they will learn music fundamentals using games, singing, movement, and storytelling. Children will also explore sound through hands-on activities, fun experiments and instrument exploration! The program concludes with a parent presentation on Friday at 10:45 AM.

Summer Strings Boost!
Summer Strings Boost immerses talented cello, viola and violin students in an inspiring week of mentoring, collaborative playing, and masterclass. Workshops focus on refining technique, advancing ensemble skills and exploring musical voice. The program culminates with a Family Showcase on Friday. The program is led by Dayton Philharmonic musicians Kara Camfield and Ellen Nettleton. Participants must have studied privately during the 22-23 academic year and be currently in an intermediate-advanced level comparable to Suzuki Book 3 or higher.

Music Theatre Workshop
MT Workshop offers an introduction to the world of musical theatre for the performer in your family! Students will sing, act, and dance their way through the week as they collaborate in small groups, learning scenes from popular Broadway shows. The program will explore the history of musical theatre, stage terminology, drama exercises, choreography, and developing healthy singing habits through solo and ensemble work. The MT Workshop concludes with a Parent Showcase on Friday at 11:30 AM.
